Playback is slow and sounds drone-ish -ACID Product Family

When I record via AcidPro 3.0 or load a wav file the playback of either is way too slow and sounds drone-ish. Also, initially when I try and playback I don't get anything. I have to first go into my properties and toggle the playback device then I get some sound. It is then that everything playsback too slow and sounds drone-ish.. Anybody know what going on? - GapeOne

Try reinstalling your soundcard's drivers. Try also a repair or reinstall of ACID Pro 3.0. Try reinstalling DirectX too. HTH, Iacobus

It also maybe sounds like maybe the file didn't get ACIDized right? Can you explain the steps you take while recording, including what you do after you record your take (if anything)? Iacobus

The steps I take when recording are as follows: - I hit the record button - do a sound check - start recording - and when I'm done recording I simply try to replay the track. HELP!
