Can you say, "Show Bus Tracks"? Put a volume envelope that fades on your Master bus for your entire mix. (In addition to other envelope types.) So easy it ought to be a crime. :)

It's already my shortcut button #13 on my Contour Shuttle Pro. I spent today transfering my settings from acid 3 to 4 and tweaked it a bit for working in acid 4:
It goes...
1.Page up
2.Page down
3.Undo
4.Redo
5.The "W" key[start of project]
6."I"...IN
7."F12"...Play[nomatter whats the focus.
8."O"...Out
9."F11"...minize docking windows
10."Shift+D"...previous tool
11."D"...next tool
12.Numeric keypad 5...Move cursor to opposite end of time selection or loop bar
13."U"...hide bus tracks
Plus my jog and shuttle wheel works great as well.
I might change these settings but they seem to be the most comfortable for the way I work.

Yes, and there will be a separate track as well for each of your soft synths!
