I'm probably going to kick myself because of the back-order date of 9/15 but I'm going for a boxed version. Let us know how it is in the mean time!

Anon,

Why boxed? Dialup? Or do you prefer to have the CD in hand?

Just curious...

I just moved so dial-up for the moment :(, however, I should be getting a cable modem in about a month. Right now, it would probably take me about 3 1/2 - 4 hours to download it if it went smooth and I didn't get disconnected in the process. But most likely it would take me 4 or 5 attempts before I got it. I'm just going to be patient and wait for the box now. It's always nice to have a boxed version anyways, but if I had DSL or Cable capabilities, I would probably be downloading 4.0 as we speak.

I updated from 3.0 to 4.0 earlier (downloadable), and all I've received so far is an "activation code".
Anybody who has it know how long it normally takes to receive a new serial number?

Do I have to wait until SF opens up again in the morning?
Every second of demo mode frustrates me, having already "paid to play" (especially the two minute limit).
Big shiny toy, must play NOW! Waaaaaaaaa!
