Hi all. Sorry, but I deleted a few of the threads related to the impending ACID PRO 4.0 release. I understand your excitement about this product, as we're really excited here too, but the product is not yet released. Any orders placed before the actual release will be invalid, and the serial numbers will not work for the actual product.

Also important to note is that we have some amazing offers coming with this release. I can't say much more now, but the special prices that some of you have seen are not all there is. So hang in there just a bit more.

Thank you very much for posting this reaction, as the original poster of these threads I appreciate it and understand why you deleted them. The threads were not intended to make people order now, though. I'll try to be as patient as we possibly can, difficult but what else can I do?

What's your alternative? Not get it and then get it when it comes out? It will come. We'll probably all buy it...and at a stellar price it sounds like!

What little has leaked out points to release by 9/1. That would jibe with the Tour dates--can't tutor at $400 a shot on a non-existent product.

Is the stellar price this $149 upgrade? That's not all that stellar for a nominal rev upgrade.

BTW, WTF is this thread about? What were these deleted posts about?

They were links to unfinished web pages describing AP4.0 with the prices.

As mentioned, they are working on special promotions, so any speculation would be pointless and take away from the PUNCH!

I checked the product ID for Acid 4 and it had the text loaded. Did they actually have the prices/downloads? Didn't have that earlier. Now they've pulled the page entirely.

Yes they had, at the product ID for Acid 4 only the price for the full product though (did you see the screenshots at that page?, very impressive!). For the upgrade-prices you had to search a bit. I cannot say anything more as I've promised Kevin at SOFO not to give any details before the release. They've pulled all pages now so don't bother searching.
