Hi, got an interesting question for you audio experts: I have a take from an amateur theater performance which is disturbed by some annoying hall effects. Signal is stereo. Is there any possibility to get rid of that using standard SF procedures or special plug-ins ? Any help appreciated. Thanks, mike |

It depends on what you mean by "effects". If you want to deaden the echo sound from the theater, there might be a way of reducing the effect. Playing around with EQ settings might help. There might be plug-ins that the more experienced guys can suggest that would help. Maybe playing with reverb settings. If what you mean is that you want to remove distinct sounds, like a chair falling over, then it is impossible (to do it well). HTH |

You can try expanding it. Dynamics/Graphic and experment with different curves on the mid-to-bottom part of the line graph and the attack and release time. Sometimes this helps the sound a little, sometimes not. Experment |
