Subject: realtime midi quantizing ?

hi there,
I'm hoping for non destructive realtime quantize on individual midi tracks in 4.0.
any info on that from S.F.?

Quantise modes seem to be one of the developing fields. I notice Fruityloops has all sorts of quantise "groove" options that work quite well. A path where you could take a loop, then chop, groove quantise, then "loop clone" would be even better :)

It will be realtime in the sense that you can quantize while playingback from the timelines.

It is non-destructive and is completely undoable.

There is no quantize while recording. Record what you will, and then apply quantize to the entire recording or portions as you see fit. Because it is non-destructive, you can always revert to the original recording.
