Hello! I am having trouble playing back 44.1/16 mono wav files in SF 6.0. A distorted sound comes out of the left channel. I can open the files in Acid or antoher program, and they sound fine. As far as I know I have the latest version of SF. Any thoughts? Thanks!

My 24-bit mono files always play in the right channel only, they play correctly in Acid/Vegas/Sonar etc. I think there are a number of quirks that hopefully will be fixed in 6.0b

Sound Forge actually attempts to open the device as mono, while the other apps you mentioned always open the device as stereo. If it works for 16-bit mono, but not 24-bit mono, it is probably a driver issue with your sound card.
