Subject:Sound Forge/Acid/Vegas & Win XP (Pro) services

Can anyone provide a list over wich services SF/Acid/Vegas absolutely need or alternatively wich they can safely do without? Changing individual services one at a time, rebooting and checking the effect on different audio apps is a bit tedious. It is possible to free up substantial amounts of Ram disabling unneeded services. I have about 50-60MB extra after a couple of tweaks.
How about an official list, Sonic Foundry?

Thanks
Erik

I would uninstall IIS from the control panel/ add remove windows components.
Disable user switching from control panel too (users).
The only painful and unecessary service is the indexing service but you should better disable it from My Computer/manage.
But I would really not touch the other services ! because you can get in much pain once you will need any functionnality that requires a service you have disabled.
And there is no need to disable the service... except the indexing one, I don't know any other that would create periodic tasks. And about memory there is no need to worry about... if they are unused windows will manage the memory smartly ;)
