Is there a way in ACID 3.0 to add an effect on just a part of a track? Example: I have a guitar solo on a single track and I want to add a delay to just the ending? Thanks in advance for your help. |

If you have ACID Pro 3.0 (ACID Pro is the only version of ACID that does FX envelopes), you can add an FX envelope and keep it at -Inf until the ending on the guitar track, then suddenly jack it to a desired level by adding a couple envelope points. Be sure to add an assignable FX in the Mixer first. HTH, Iacobus |

Thank you, I knew it was something simple like that! I'm always too busy making music to read the manual! |

can't you split the event and then assign fx to it too? sb |

Yes. If you're talking about generally adding the effect at the track level, you'd have to duplicate the track and then delete all the events before the desired event (after splitting, of course). This would probably be practical for the other versions of ACID, as the other versions other than Pro don't have assignable FX envelopes. Iacobus |
