Subject:SF 6 can not save files

I have SF6 and SF 4.5 on win 98 SE.
if I edit an ACID sample in SF6 and try to save it, i get read only file errors.
Save As option works fine. If I use SF 4.5 and do Save it work fine.

any advice?

Sorry 'cause I don't write to you for answer your question.
I have the same problem you explain, I Open LogicAudio.wav files,and after editing I can't save, with a message: something like "can't open the file" ?????
Save As option works fine, and if I use SF 4.5 and do Save it work fine, too.


Do you have solve the problem???

Anybody knows nothing about?

Make sure you have the 6.0a update installed, available on the Sonic Foundry website.

I recently updated to sf6 from 5 and now i frequently receive the following message when i try to re-save files already saved with sf6 "an error occurred while saving one or more files. the file could not be created". does the update fix this? thanks for your assistance.

Update to 6.0a fixed the problem.
