Sorry to be an annoying question person BUT...in Acid 3.0, is there any way to take out the bass or treble for only a few measures of a track (as opposed to changing the entire track). Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hey Poopsicle!!
Nice name...I suddenly feel a growling in my stomach...
Anyway, you have two options, as I see it...
You could clone the track twice, dial out the bass on one and the treble on the other, then paint away.
If you don't need such a drastic filter you could setup two effects sends, one with a bass cut, the other with treble cut. Then you can use the envelopes to apply the respective filters. If you are using SF's track EQ, you could use all four filters as shelving EQ's, placed on the same frequencies, thus increasing the effectiveness, and hopefully countering the fact that some of the original signal is leaking through. With that setup, you can experiment with setting relatively high send levels, that way when you bring the send envelope in, the track would get louder, but at the same time you could use a volume envelope to lower the overall volume, once again lowering the original, uneffected signal.
Have no fear, Acid 4 is here with FX automation!!!
