Subject:how to sync Acid with external synth.Please help!!!

Hello everyone!I'm trying to sync up Acid so when I press a note on my synth Acid starts recording audio.I've managed to do it the opposite way.(when I click record on Acid,my synth sequencer starts playing)Is this possible?Oh,btw,I'm using an Access Virus and Triton Le.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok,I see that Acid can read incoming MTC but the manual says I need a word clock generator.Is this true?Man,that's another $400.00 just to sync.Why can't Acid just recieve midi clock data?All I need is to trigger recording!Bummer!

How about just using yer keyboard next to yer synth? Hit a hotkey and away ya go? Can get a wireless keyboard or cable extender for it.

I wonder if Soundforge has a better sync option?

ACID does not have a means to start/stop transport functions using MIDI - or any external control.

ACID will chase to MIDI Time Code, but that is not what you want to do.

Yes,that's what I've discovered.It's too bad.Hopefull this will be on the next release!
