Subject:Computer shut down

Do any one have any idea what would make my computer shut down when I try to burn a video cd? I am using window xp home edition. When I start up Vegas Video and click tools/burn cd/video cd my computer rebooth. It don't do it every time but it does it. Thank you

what OS?
do this tho so it won't continue to reboot on fault:
right click my computure->properties->advanced->startup and recovery->uncheck "automaticly reboot"

If you have any USB devices that masquerade as SCSI, they may be part of the problem. I know of a few drivers that blue-screen XP as soon as you ping a SCSI message off of them (which Vegas does when groveling for drives).
