There's a weird kind of sound in the following loops from the Fleetwood collection in this months Get Media downloads. Kind of a rubbing sound, like a horn, it wrecks the loops: 01 Rock Fill 01.wav 01 Rock Fill 02. wav 01 Rock Fill 03. wav 01 Rock Groove 03.wav 01 Rock Groove 04.wav 01 Rock Groove 05.wav I downloaded them twice just in case of a bad download. Same thing. The other 14 loops were OK. Tell me they weren't supposed to sound like this! I've been looking forward to buying this collection. |

Please go to http://www.artistcollaboration.com/users/gbat/ and click on weird sound, (just the sound), and whole loop. It's on the left side just under e-mail. They are little mp3's from 01 Rock Fill 01.wav in which I normalized the "sound". It's an F I believe. If it was just percussive it wouldn't bother me but I don't need a loose F floating around. Seems like it's part of the echo of the snare. kick, kick, snare, sound. Especially sounds up on headphones. I wanna be wrong. |

I haven't noticed any anomalies either, gbat. I listened with headphones too. All I hear is the hiss from the cymbals or hi-hats after the intial percussive hits and attacks. Iacobus |

<<. . . but I don't need a loose F floating around.>> That's what some folks said about Mick during his "higher times." (sorry, couldn't resist) ;-) drbam |

Been listening very closely to the 6 loops I mentioned earlier and the others as well and I think what happened is that they compressed the first part of the snare resonance almost out of existence and then when it let loose it came back with a vengance. Some engineers screwed it up, too bad. Re-record em, Mick. Get a different engineer. I am available! :) |
