Subject:Help! Acid won't render one of my projects

I've been trying to render this certain project into a .wav file but it keeps stopping at the 83-85% completed mark. It's because one of the tracks I threw vibrato on it, and it started eating megs like crazy. My little meg counter in the corner went from about 25/256 to 95/256. Once I took the track out it rendered fine, but I really want this track in the project. Is this just too much for my puny computer to handle or is there something else I could do to get it to render?

Thanks y'all

You could solo that track and render it by itself, then mute that track and bring thew newly rendered .wav file in as a new track. That way you wouldn't be rendering the entire project AND the effect at the same time.

Chienworks makes a great point. Try also soloing that one track and bouncing it down (CTRL+M). (Remember to set the new track's volume to 0.0 dB to match the original's volume.) This will integrate the effect with the track so ACID doesn't have to do it in real time; all ACID will have to do is play it back.

Bounce is your best friend. When I say bounce, I mean render the track with the vibrato on it to a new track. This will record the loop with the FX on it, you can then delete the original track, and free up that RAM. You may want to make the track you are about to bounce a little hotter in the mix before you bounce it down.
