Subject:SF5.0f works great on win 98 but no in XP

Sf. sounds very strange the sound comes and go all the time. Very extrange... I have upgraded to Win XP and reinstalled all my programs, Nuendo works well, but SF 5.0 doesn't (any version) In other computers I 'm working with SF 4.5 and 5.0 without problems..(Win 98).
Any ideas or suggestions.
