Subject:Need help recording with Acid 3. Thanks! Posted by: jvaaz Date:6/25/2002 8:23:27 PM running acid 3 on win 98 system. while recording input from synth thru sound card to acid, i am picking up the other tracks i have already layed down in this instance. all of the previously created tracks are being recorded on the new track along with the synth.i've checked all of my settings, but something's obviously wrong.

Reply by: aarrington Date:6/26/2002 2:30:42 AM I'm not a techy, so I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but just in case: I'm running Acid 3.0 with Windows 2000. I also use the Creative Platinum 5.1 sound card. Here is what I do: --I have a record source module on Creative that allows me to select the recording source of my sound card. --My Ensoniq TS-10 synth/sequencer runs LINE OUT to LINE IN of my sound card, so I simply select LINE IN as my recording source. --As long as the sound I want on the TS-10 is the ONLY sound playing, it will be the ONLY sound recorded. Make sense? Hope this helps!
