I've got a very nice thing going IN the computer ... but during playback and BEFORE any volume maxing, I'm getting a pretty crispy sound ????? I've deleated the mix and started over, just to be sure the thing went IN correctly. I've tried concervitive levels and hear NO distortion going IN, but playback just isn't acceptable. The music is soooooo naked anything stands out. I'm using a Sound Blaster card and the input needs to be calibrated somehow. I've got just a couple of notches between NO input and Max input ???? I can rip from a CD and playback is fine. I am at 16bit stereo useing SF 5.0 I've tried doing a search, but don't come up with the right answer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Russ
