Subject:System Crash down !!!

I am using SF 5 and during the the vinil restoration on a big file (500Mb) after few moments my system reset and restart.
I am us OS W2k and my Hardware is:

MB SOltek SL-75DRV5
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
512 Mb DDR333Mhz
HD IBM 80Gb

For your information I have observed the Vinil Restoration take up the CPU about 90/95 %...I think is really too much, doesn't you ?
