How are you recording? MIDI or digital audio?

Using ACID Pro? (ACID Pro's the only version of ACID that can record MIDI. All others record digital audio only.)

From what it sounds like, the ideal setup would probably be to use the audio outs on the MPC2000XL or the keyboard and go into (what I'm guessing is) the 1/8" stereo line in on the soundcard. More than likely, you'll need a stereo L/R to stereo 1/8" adapter for this purpose. Even then, you'll be able to use only one device at a time (the MPC2000XL or the keyboard).

export/save the mpc files as .wav onto a disk then put that disk into your pc and import the files to acid.

you can also record your keyboard into the mpc and do the above.

Maybe I missed what you were saying, but just in case...did you make sure you "line in" is not muted? Go into your play control settings and make sure the mute box is not checked. It took me a while to figure that one out. Now it's the first thing I check when I don't get a signal from my keyboard.

If you want to do both, you'll definitely have to pick up a new soundcard/interface with multiple inputs. You can check out solutions from Echo, M-Audio, Terratec, RME or Edirol. (Whew. Did I forget anyone?)

In addition to having multiple inputs/outputs (and you're using ACID Pro), you'll have the added benefit of 24-bit/96 kHz recording.

its easy. first plug the output of anything like a keyboard or mixer into ur line in. then go into the windows sound card manager thing and select record. tell it to record the line in. then go press record in acid and it'll work. email me if u dont get it
