A lot of times I get a drum loop and song that I downloaded from the internet. And sometimes the song starts on beat 2 at the intro of the song instead of beat 1. So, I would have to cut part of the beat in the beginning of the song so I could match it with the loop. The way that I do that is try to line up the kick and the snare of the song exactly with the kick and the snare on the loop by looking at the wave and try to match it with what I see. Is there a easier way in getting the beat to stay in line instead of shifting the song around all the time. Now the song and the loop are both acidized. I just need to find a way to make my job easier. Can Anyone help, I'd appreciate that. |

Why not try the reverse and line the drum loop with the song? That way, you'll have the (brief?) intro of the song too. You'll just have to start the drum loop on beat 2 on the timeline. If you have ACID Pro 3.0, you can also use the Chopper (shortcut is ALT+2 on your keyboard) to extract that portion of the loop or song and insert it wherever you want on the timeline. HTH, Iacobus |
