Any news on when SF6.0b will released? I'm eagerly waiting on some fixes.

Cheers,
Michael

Some fixes? Damn, I found 4 bugs in one night, just trying out the program. The one's I did find where pretty major ones. Especially, if you can't rely on the chainer window, where it previews one sound processing, and then processes something that sounds totally different. That's a major bug in my opinion, if I can't rely on my host app, to reproduce what I'm hearing.

Well...6.0a just came out about 10-14 days ago...didn't it?

I suspect, unless RednRoll finds about 8 more bugs (for an even dozen!) or a showstopper is discovered by someone, look for the next update in a month or more.

Red - I do have to spend some time with the Plug-In chainer and check out your observations...

Cheers,

Cuzin B

I can't repro any of those problems with the Chainer, but then again, I don't have those plugins. Only Waves and Sonic Foundry.

I haven't reached the "W's" of the alphabet to test out my waves plugins yet, but speaking of Waves Charles. Have you gone to www.prorec.com and read that article on the "PACE INTERLOCK" copy protection yet? Sounds like a nightmare for your system, and also as the article concludes, someone has already cracked the waves plugins using the Pace interlock. Therefore the cracked version is actually more desireable than a legitimate copy, since the cracked version doesn't have all the Pace interlock stuff on it, which plays hell on your system and also gives you registration headaches.

Hey Rednroll, when you get through your list, would you mind emailing me a list of the problem plug-ins in case I miss(ed) a post?

Thanks,
J.

msmithers, sorry to burst your bubble, but there really isn't any sense in asking. Sonic Foundry announces updates when they're available, generally never before. You'll know as soon as it's ready; they always post an announcement here in the appropriate forum. You can also check here http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step1.asp?CatID=2 as often as you wish.
