Subject:loops shifting when sliced

I recently was working on a track with a 5/8 time sig and whenever I sliced one of the tracks, it would shift the half on the right by... an 8th note or a quarter note. What could be causing this? This is Acid Pro 3.0... the latest revision. |

That's weird. Did you try using the Chopper to extract that portion of the track instead of splitting it? Iacobus |

Do you have some sort of snap on? Maybe it's snapping the piece on the right into place. TeeCee |

I was thinking that too, but I've tried toggling the snapping (F8) on and off while splitting. The events stay right where they are when I split them no matter if snapping is on or off. Iacobus |

Vegas Video has a few other snapping options that aren't as obvious as the audio snapping. Acid might also, but it sounds more like you have an issue for tech support. Good luck, TeeCee |
