I have problem with Soft Encode causing an illegal opperation every time I tried to encode 6 channels . It used to work and then after a while stopped working!! I reinstalled Windows 98 and also upgraded to Windows ME, still it doesn't work. It does work with very short samples (under 25 seconds) and with 3 or less channels but any more than those and it does an illegal opperation. With so many people having this problem, will somebody with some knowledge please help us out!!! Thanks |

hello from japan, 1/ use crtl+alt+del once on keyboard. See how many TSR's are running. 2/ Close TSR's according to your needs. These take up virtual memory. 3/ make sure you set virtual memory to the same as hardware ram you have. 4/ disable read ahead caching on HDD. 5/ Set system as network server. 6/ Most important.. DEFRAG DEFRAG your HDD. try this and you will se a difference.... Luke Takamura |
