I have a Pinnacle PCTV application that lets me input a television signal. I want to be able to record that in Sound Forge. I also have an Intel 815 on-board audio chip [D815 EAEP2 Motherboard] using SoundMax 3.0. I can hear the sound coming from the speaker but I cannot input a signal into Sound Forge. The Recording dialog box is set up to record from the sound card source, which in this case, is Sound Max 3.0 Digital Audio. I used to do this with Total Recorder 3.4 which I took off my system. The Sound Card mixer on the Windows Multimedia panel shows the faders with Wave and CD audio up for sound but nothing shows in the Sound Forge window when I finish recording. Any thoughts on what needs to be tweaked to get the audio in? Thanks! |

Check your SF record settings: Options> Preferences> Wave> . Then check the computer settings, Double click yellow speaker icon, select Options> Properties> Recording> select the approprate level control. |
