I'm new here and i wanna say hello to everyone. I just downloaded a trial version of Acid Pro 3.0g and i've installed it on my system running Windows XP Pro, it installed without a hitch but when i open the software it gives a Rundll error saying that "c:/programs files/sonic..... the specified module cannot be found". But when i click the OK button the software opens up and runs without a problem (editing creating and saving loops and such) and also none of the effects appear when i press the plugin icon. Is there a problem running Acid Pro with Windows XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard of these problems with people running Sonar 2.0....

Also have you tried a simple uninstall/reinstall, that sometmes helps

In addition to what Spirit suggested, also consider re-downloading the demo. It's quite possible the download might have been corrupt, especially if you're using a narrowband (dial-up) connection. The longer the download takes, the more that can go wrong.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately i am not running sonar and i don't think the file is corrupted i have a broadband connection. also i tried installing the Acid Pro 3.0 DEMO that came with Learn ACID in 24 hours which is build 248 and it's the same errors. The only thing i could think of is could it be because my harddrive is on a RAID configuration? Any more suggestions?

I've heard of RAID causing such problems (though I can't remember where). Try disabling it?

Hello,

Have you disabled 8.3 filename creation within Windows? If so you will need to re-enable that.

Thanks,
Brian
