Hi All, I've experienced this problem with all versions of Sound Forge 5 and 6, on two different PC's, running both WinXP and Win2k. I was wondering if someone else could corroborate this? Cheers, Michael 1) Open a large stereo file (e.g. 44.1kHz0 2) Select a large region of the audio 3) From the Menus, select TOOLS, SPECTRUM ANALYSIS and press CANCEL immediately (i.e. before the spectrum anaylysis finishes it's calculations) 4) From the menus on the spectrum analysis window, select DISPLAY, SONOGRAM (either Color or B&W) The program generates an exception and crashes!!!! |

This should be fixed in the 6.0a update. |

Unfortunately it hasn't. The 6.0a update doesn't crash but insead gives a solid color for the right sonogram channel. i.e. the left channel sonogram display is ok but the right shows nothing. Regards, Michael |

Maybe it's about time to update the spectrum analysis, to something a little more usefull than bouncing dots? Please visit www.waves.com (PAZ Spectral analyzer) or WWW.soundtechnology.com (Spectra Lab). |
