Subject:Selection and zooming in

I'm trying the demo version of SF 6.0 to see if I should upgrade or not before the special offer ends. So far I like it, but there's one crucial thing that's not working. Maybe I forgot to enable something, so if someone could help me find it...

When I make a selection of the wave, play it looped and zoom in, then I want it to zoom in on the side (left or right) where I changed the selection so that I can change the selection even more precise. This works in SF 5.0, but for some reason not in SF 6.0. The difference is that in SF 5.0 the wave stands still and in SF 6.0 the wave is moving. So what am I forgetting here? It must be something simply. I can't imagine this isn't possible in SF 6.0.

i've found this to be true. the wave keeps moving, which is a pain if you're zoomed in very closely, because the start of the selection will move away from view very quickly. i'm using SF 6.0a.

as far as i can tell there's no setting for that. or i've not been able to find it. but i would have liked it the old way (no movement) as well. :(

uncheck Options->Scroll Playback (F6)
