Does Sound Forge 6.0 have to be installed with the update being installed over it, or does the 6.0a go in by itself? I haven't installed 6.0 yet.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'd like to save a step and make sure the application goes in correctly.

6.0a goes in by itself. Every update is a complete program that is capable of overwriting the common files of the previous install.
So, when 6.0b comes out, you'll be able to install over 6.0a. Keep in mind, some users have encountered problems installing updates before completely uninstalling the previous version.

This does not apply to the Beta-6, which Sonic says MUST be UN-INSTALLED before installing 6.0 or later.
