Hi.
I recently became aware of the preset in channel convert function (under 'Process'). It's great. Very useful. However I was wondering if it is possible to do the reverse and cut out the background instruments leaving only the vocal track?
Any ideas?

No such thing possible. Read FAQ #6.

In order to leave the vocal track, there would have to BE a vocal track. A normal stereo recording has only left & right, and the instruments & vocals are all mixed together on both tracks.
