Hi Folks,
Just got SF6....most excellent! Problem is........... if I put more than 2 plug-ins in the chain, after a bar or so the audio is jittering and unlistenable! I am using an AMD 500htz mother with 264 ram, and a Audiophile 2496 card.
Help!

Hi Charlesdem,
In an ideal world I'd like.........
Waves C4
BBE sonic maximiser
Waves Stereo Imager+
Waves Ultramaximiser+.

Used in combinations of Two, they seem to work!
Any thoughts?
Laters..........Glenn

The only help is the one you should give to yourself, if able!
You should upgrade your computer to no less than 1,000MHz or 1GHz.
I would recommend getting the Soyo P4I FireDragon motherboard, and a Pentium 4 processor with 512kB L2 cache, running from 1.5 to 2.0GHz!
I have a PIII 750MHz right now, and my computer started losing itself with just one plug-in, which was the Acoustic Mirror. I have to upgrade as well, as soon as I get some money :-)

Hi Glenn
I just tried
Waves C4>S1 and L1 as a FX Chain no jittering here.
I even moved around the plugin order to add a problem nothing it plays smooth.
Sorry no BBE here.
I tried this on my Win98se PIII 800e /512mb PC100 ram and a Darla 20.

What happens if you render the whole chain ? Presumably that's OK, in which case it suggests that your CPU/system is running out of steam. Have you done the usual Windows audio optimisations ? Such as detailed at :
