Subject:acid 3.0 Pro goes downhill

ok, in the last month i've had more problems then ever.
i thought i'd taking care of them all with a re-reinstall of the 'g' patch, but now a new one has popped up.
upon starting the app, with a song loaded or not, clicking the 'insert Assiganble FX' button automatically crashes acid.
giving me this error::

I'd hate to be forced to downgrade back to the last version, it just doesn't make sense. so can anyone shed some light on my problem?

This happens to me every time I open a file after I've worked with it for a while. I'll have created something great, 6+ tracks, about over a minute in length, and I save it....which works fine, until I try to open it, and then it ALWAYS gives me an access violation of some sort and hangs the program....I've tried updates, upgrades, everything I can think of...it seems to make no difference. WHY?? WHY????

go strait to email support from SOFO i get crap from acid pro 3 all the time
