does any body know how can i record (burn in a cd) 1 "one-track mix" (made in acid pro)that could be listened track by track?

For example, I mix 10 songs with Acid Pro and i get a track of 1:00 hr, and when i burn it into an audio-cd, i have to listen the whole mix, because i don't know how to "divide" my mix if i want to listen track by track (like pushing on the "next" button of my sound system).

Sorry, for me it's hard to explain it, even in my language spanish. It's important to say: i want that if i played the whole mix (even divided) it seemed to be mixed yet. Thanks a lot for your help.

Hehe, you used to be able to do it in a Sonic Foundry product called "CD Architect", but then SoFo decided there werent enough "pro" users out there to support their "pro" products, so they pulled it off the assembly line.
Now, they have a version of it in their most expensive and high end "pro" software called Vegas Video, but Ive read here that it is not the end all to doing serious track indexing for CDs.

So, were without a true "pro" product.

you could also do the following. save your mix as one huge wavefile with ACID. open the wave in Sound Forge and decide where in the mix you want the individual tracks to start. then simply select the part you want to be an individual track and add it to the regions list. make regions of every part that you want to be a track. if your mix does not have pauses between tracks the end of one region would be the start of the next region.

when you've made regions for every track simply use Extract Regions. the regions will be saved as seperate wave files. then go to your favorite burning program and burn an audio cd of them. make sure the burning program doesn't put any pauses between tracks (the default is 2 seconds, but you can manually set it to zero).

Thanks a lot ATP!!!! and everybody who tried to help me, it was very cool. Actually, yesterday at night i was searching the way to make the one-track (tracked) mix and i found the same answer that ATP is suggesting, and it's great!!!! i proved it with 2 mixes, and then listened the tracks (burned in the cd) in a audiocar system and a stereo-system and sounds great!!! Again ATP, thanks a lot for your help, and i'm sure this is gonna be valuable for many people! See you.

CDA from sonic foundry will do this for you. only thing its now KAKTUS (that means now longer available). Just thought I would let you know, in case you happen to find a copy some where.

Vegas Video, is the end all for doing serious track indexing for CD's. It offers all the flexibility that CD Architect use to, plus it offers all the additional power of being a true multi-track editor. In other words you can mix and crossfade as many tracks that you want. CD architect only let you crossfade 2 stereo tracks at a time, where vegas you have unlimited track mixing available and also you can add realtime DX plugins. Vegas is a "pro" option, if you don't believe this, then look at the other so called "pro" competition. Protools, has their archaic "Master List" ability to put a compilation CD together. This interface is very similar to the "playlist" editing method which is in Sound Forge.

In the past when I used CD architect and a client would come in and want to do skits between their songs, I use to have to compile the skits together in Vegas and render it as a mix and then import it into CD architect. Now I can do everything in Vegas, without having to render to a mix. Plus I can open old CD architect projects in Vegas, so it's backwards compatible for us old die hard CD architect fans.

pops into the address bar. Either one works for me.
Those who can't use the www.cdwave.com may be having
some name resolutions problems. There could be
DNS problems on one or more of the hops.

Either way, it can be a handy tool to have.
