SF 6.0 Reboots when scan for CD Burner -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:SF 6.0 Reboots when scan for CD Burner Posted by: brokenrecords Date:5/18/2002 11:47:14 PM I just installed XP and upgraded from SF 5.0 to 6.0. Every time I try to scan for CD recorders is shuts down my computer, No blue screen of death it simply powers it right down and reboots. Anyone having that problem? I cannot import audio from my CD player now, I cannot burn CDs from SF. I think the program sounds better since I upgraded all my drivers to XP. I have the Prodif 96 from Sek'd and it sounds very good. Any ideas why SF6.0 would be causing my puter to reboot? Thanks! PS: I have EZCD Creator Platinum 5.1 installed and working fine in this machine. Would that be causing any problems?

I went to the preferences section and selected the CD burner and wouldnt you know it, it worked. I wonder how I make a full time living doing this:) Great Product Sonic Foundry!!
