Can someone please tell me how to rid my computer of these annoying, unwanted popup windows?

There's a program from Analog X called POW that does a good job for me.
It's free too.

Lyled,

You may also have a bunch of adware installed on your computer. Download and run Ad-Aware. It'll scan through you machine a remove all that cruddy spyware that could be serving ads to you, like Gator, Brilliant Digital, and TimeSink.
