Subject:Where should I arange my SF files once they're done?

Does anyone have any advice for software that can be used to take several audio tracks (probably 16 or more, at maximum) edited in Sound Forge and arange them to make a final recording? I don't really need any kind of special functionality since I have Sound Forge to use for editing. Cakewalk Music Creator looked attractive as a no-frills, low cost possiblity. Cost will probably be the deciding factor for me, since I only need this software for such a limited use. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

By arranging, do you mean end to end, one at a time, like setting up a track list for a CD? Most likely the software that came with your CD burner can do this for you. Drag the tracks into the composition window in the order you want them and burn.

If you mean that you want to combine them into one long file, with no more mixing than a crossfade between the tracks, then Sound Forge can do this for you quite nicely.

If you mean mixing them together simultaneously like a multitrack recording, then Sonic Foundry's Vegas does this very well. If you have the full version of Sound Forge 5 then you're entitled to a free license for Vegas LE, which will handle 8 stereo tracks.
