Subject:SF6 & MP3: only low quality???

I'm looking at SF6 for editing, despite the lack of DAO burning. However, when I attempt to save a files in MP3 format I'm restricted to (up to & including) 128Kbps.
Vegas will allow me to render up to & including 320Kbps.

Is this a wrinkle introduced to push Vegas as a "finishing" program as well as DAO burner (whether I want the video facilities is a seperate issue), or is it perhaps a quirk of the demo versions which will be rectified when (if) I purchase the full version?

I had this problem with Sound Forge 5. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. There's also a way to re-register the MP3 plug-in but I can't remember offhand how to go about doing it. (Drag the appropriate DLL from the "Shared Plug-Ins/MP3" folder into an open Sound Forge window?)
