Subject:Error in saving files in SF6

I've upgraded SF5 to SF6 (build 132) and have run into problems saving files. An error message appears every time I try to save after performing any work on the file. I can save as a different file name. The message is "An error occurred while saving one or more files. The file could not be created."

Any insights?

This is a bug. It will be fixed in the 6.0a update, which should be available in a week or two (but don't quote me on that). In the meantime, you can try one of the following:

1) set your temporary folder (Options->Preferences->Perform tab) to something on the same partition as the file you are editing.

2) hold down Ctrl+Shift while selection Options->Preferences, select the "Internal" tab, and set the entry labeled "Enable quick, natively-supported file saves" (near the bottom of the list) to FALSE. This will affect save performance in several cases, but will circumvent the error until 6.0a is made available.
