Has anybody had this with Acid Pro 3? I will mix 3-4 Beatmastered tracks but if the pitch is a little fast or slow it will make the song sound kind of flanged or like "canned" . Any help? |

Try double-clicking the track's track icon and change the track type to Loop. (Beware that changing changing long Beatmapped tracks to Loop type tracks will use a lot of RAM.) Then play around with the stretch properties (using markers) under the Stretch tab to see if that helps. I'm guessing that echo artifacts are produced because the sample is going too fast or slow. ACID needs to know where transients are in the sample in order to stretch properly. Unfortunately, Beatmapped tracks don't have the a luxury of adding or editing stretch markers. (Maybe ACID Pro 4.0?) HTH, Iacobus |

Are you descibing a "pushing-pulling" effect between the tracks. That sounds like an interaction of two or more tracks moving slowly in and out of sync. Great effect when used in the right place... musicdog |

Great thoughts! The tracks I'm mixing are full songs anywhere from 4-5 minutes. I'll give it a try. Thanks. |
