Vegas Video for Audio?

Hey folks, I've got Acid Pro and learning the limitations of it. I want to be able to make a drum track in Acid and send it over to VV3 then add a million tracks of vocals/acoustic guitar(with effects).......THEN burn it to disc as is

Should I look into another program for this? I feel kinda weird buying VV3 when it was made for video(wich i wont be using)

Is there a program like Acid where you can make loops AND add unlimited audio tracks?

Thanks!!!

A common misconception I have no idea how it got started. Remember Sonicfoundy has its beginnings in offering high powered audio applications so it would be foolish to think they would skimp on audio when they developed a multimedia product which is what VegasVideo is in spite of the name Vegas Video. Download the free demo and see if it meets your needs. Spend some time playing with the FX plug-ins and read the online help and the info in the PDF file which is the FULL manual for Vegas Video. You can do amazing AUDIO things with Vegas Video every bit as much as you can do amazing video things. :-)

Of course you can make loops and have unlimted tracks in VV3 and so much more. Experiment. Maybe you should consider looking at SoundForge also.

LongB,

I'm not really understanding your question. If you have one shot samples, you can make drum tracks in Acid quite easily. Secondly, it already has support for unlimited tracks. Where is it falling short with what you're wanting to do?
