I just did a clean install of XP and decided to add a new hard drive as my boot drive. I moved my old "C" drive over to "D" but all my Acid files have C: embedded as the source for all my loops. Does anyone know a way to update my project files globally instead of opening each one and editing each track to point to D:? Any help would be appreciated.

Whats going to happen is when you open the file, its like you said, going to look in C:...but just let it search both drives or manually point it to the files and it will open. Then once its open, click SAVE.

Thats all!

For some reason, I don't have the opportunity to do this. The strange thing is that it doesn't come up and say it can't find the files, it just shows them as offline.

ok..in that case..right click on each track to show its Properties..then it will tell you where it used to be. so point it to where it should be and that should be it.

worse comes to worse, just open a new file and use all the tracks again and build it back up.

I'm hoping that's my last option. I'm still looking for a way to do this globally on each project file.
