Subject:Scroll when drag selecting

Drag selecting with my old PII 450 computer (with SF 4.5) was just about the "right" speed. With my new AMD XP 1800+, the scroll is too fast, even with "Default to slow scroll when drag selecting" checked off. Anybody got a fix?
