Subject:recognizing CD burner

I just installed a Pacific Digital 24X burner but Sound Forge will not recognize it.
I also have an 8X Yamaha which works but I'd like to burn faster. Any Suggestions to
get SF to recognize the drive?

Does it have a drive letter, "E" for instance, assigned to it. If so, do other programs recognise it?

Yes, It is my K drive. I've gotten EZ cd creator & Click and Burn to recognize it by insalling their
update patches. I haven't tried installing the latest SF upgrade, perhaps that has the drive definition?
