http://lightning.prohosting.com/~sputnik7/flash.htm

When I cut silent lines from the beginning and from the end, after save it as mp3 then open as mp3 and silent lines still there.
I tried the same with goldwave but the same result.

That's because the bit of silence at the beginning and end of an MP3 is inherent to the format and part of the standard. There's no way to get rid of it. Sorry.

Ummm...Sound Forge? ;) (Just open the MP3 and use File>Save As on the menu bar and choose WAV as the file type.)

If you're looking to do a mass conversion of MP3's to WAV's, Batch Converter 5 is included with Sound Forge 5. Get the latest build of BC 5 here. Be prepared to give your Sound Forge serial number.

Hmmm...
The problem is, that I only see: File -> Save As -> *.mp3 *.rm *.wma *.wmv.

SoundForge 5.0e Build 248

Any ideas?

???

Sounds like something got mucked in the process. You should have a lot more file formats than that. Try going into Program Files/Sonic Foundry/Shared Plug-Ins/File Formats. You should have a file called "wavplug.dll". Take this file and drag it into an open Sound Forge window. Sound Forge will ask you if you want to re-register. Say "Yes", click "OK" and then close and restart Sound Forge.

If that doesn't work, then try uninstalling and reinstalling Sound Forge.
