whenever i start a project, everything runs fast. i start adding in tracks and its still ok. i have about 15 tracks loaded and its still good. i save the project and close it. i reopen it, and play it back, and it starts to skip every 2 seconds. why does it do this? theres no clicks or pops, its just skips. anyone got any idea? if ya want, IM me, xxiiaieseiixx. thanks! also, are there any other programs that are like Acid? |

Have you tried stopping and then starting the project again? Sounds like it could be a video card and/or soundcard issue. (Keep both devices' drivers up to date.) Try also adjusting the buffer under Options>Preferences>Audio tab on the menu bar. There are similar programs like ACID. Sonar (from Cakewalk) comes to mind but it's not exactly the same. Iacobus |

The speed issue can be caused by a clock differential between external and internal clock selections on your sound card when your card clock syncs externally on digital input. Make sure after recording from an external digital source you set your card clock back to "internal". |
