loading mp3s into sound forge at 24bit? -Sound Forge - PC

Posted by: swinokur Date:4/27/2002 7:28:48 PM hi, over the past couple days I've been playing with some of the 24 bit capable mp3 decoders that are available over the internet (MAD and l3dec). My next natural question is: can any sonic foundry product read mp3 at 24bit? Since it appears to be possible to accurately read mp3 at this higher resolution (http://privatewww.essex.ac.uk/~djmrob/mp3decoders/24bit.html), I'd think that it would be a natural thing to have this functionality in soundforge. thanks! -S
