I'm not sure if that's what it's called, but when I record (monitor off!) a live track and then play it back SOMETIMES I also get the sound from another recorded track, even if the other tracks are muted. I'm using ACID 3f, Soundblaster internal Audigy Platinum, Peavey RQ200 Mixer/Pre-amp going into my Line-In. The Loop tracks never do it. Anybody have any ideas/comments? Thanks |

I would make sure that in the preferneces of Sound Forge on the wave tab you have set the default recording device to your sound card and not the microsoft sound mapper. Then in your windows sounds entry in the control panel make sure that whatever input you are recording in from is the only one selected. |

I also have the Audigy card and had the same problem, I found that on the "creative labs" mixer the REC (record) was set to "What U Hear". Just click the button on the top and select the "Analog Mix (Line/CD...)" selection and the track you are recording won't include the other tracks that are playing............. At least that worked for me, good luck. **James. |
