mD, i get what you mean. I'd just like to ask how to use acid 3 with the additive panning. I work with stereo files, if it's additive, i should be using mono files, correct? that way 50%L would be 50%L 50%R, not 50%L 150%R, correct? Please help, and thank you for all the help so far.

whoa...that seems confusing.

if i had mono versions of a stereo track and i wanted to do some pan tricks, i would:

1. open the stereo and mono tracks
2. keep the stereo track at center and pan the corresponding mono tracks hard left and hard right
3. adjust the levels of the mono tracks and be done with it
