Try File>Save As on the menu bar. Select "MP3 Audio" in the "Save as type" field.

Record it right off the sound card as it streams. "record what I hear" (Sound Blaster setting, I think) See post: "recording a real player stream"
You would need the .rm file part of a real audio event to have the audio data but, SF will not open "Real" audio files. If you do have the .rm file, you will have to convert it to a wave, aiff or other format in some other program.

Err...I am such an idiot. I totally forgot you can't open RM files in Sound Forge (but you can save other formats as such). 8ol
