Subject:Need a bit of help...Exporting Loops

Last night I was experimenting in Acid 3.0, attempting to transport my work to another person house by using the "exportloops function." What I did was export the loops, saving as a MP3Audio file and burned to disk as a data File (not audio). When I attempted to load the data up on a friend system it was accessible, but it appeared as though the material was choppy, and sounded as if it had a slight echo to it. I know it wasn't his system for sure, maybe I saved it as a wrong file. Maybe I should have saved it as something other than MP3 Audio. Can someone please advise? |

Try saving it as an .acd-zip, which is in the options list when you select Save As . |

When you export to mp3, you have the level of quality option listed right below that. Unless you specified a higher quality, like 128 or 196, you probably ended up with the lowest quality (I think it defaults to 32 or 64). That might be part of the problem. Also, when you burn a CD, make sure you do nothing else on your PC while it's burning, disable anti-virus, etc, etc. HTH |
